Do you enjoy being outdoors,聽or聽want to meet like-minded people who enjoy NATURE?
Join our Summer Sustainabili-team volunteers and help us maintain the multiple vegetable gardens,聽fruit聽trees, pollinator gardens,聽and聽biodiversity zones,聽or聽inspect beehives, help聽with聽composting, bird feeders, vermi-composts and more! In addition, we will take field trips to other organizations who have gardens, and will offer several workshops (examples include jam workshop, pest control, tea making)

The 吃瓜社区 community came together on Earth Day to dedicate two new pollinator wildflower gardens on their 鈥淟iving Campus鈥 on April 22 in celebration of achieving a platinum rating in sustainability.
After years of work and great effort by hundreds of students and employees from the 吃瓜社区 community, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) confirmed 吃瓜社区鈥檚 platinum rating as a global leader in sustainability. 吃瓜社区 had previously achieved the C茅gep vert Excellence Level with special mention.
吃瓜社区 is the first 鈥淎ssociate鈥 level institution to achieve a platinum rating.聽聽Over 1,000 institutions participate in the program located in nine Canadian provinces, 47 U.S. states and territories and more than 20 countries.

See students working on the Butterfly Nursery

Second-year students in the Product Design program are working on the Butterfly Nursery this spring! Come see their work in progress from Conrod's (mostly Tuesdays and sometimes Fridays).
As part of their Ergonomics course, the designs the students are creating must meet the needs of the user: the Living Campus volunteers who work in the gardens as well as the butterfly populations we are trying to protect.
They are working on two main things: reducing the sunlight that comes in to lower the temperature inside and they are making work tables.
Earth Week Eco-Vendor Market April 22-25
