Law 14 \u2013 An Act respecting French, the official and common language of Qu\u00e9bec<\/span><\/h3>\n

Bill 96, or Law 14, was adopted by Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s National Assembly in May 2022. The new law brings significant amendments to the\u202fCharter of the French Language,\u202fcommonly known as Bill 101.\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As of June 1, 2023, certain aspects of the new law will affect students who register in AEC programs in C\u00e9geps.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Law 14 puts students in Higher Education, including in AEC programs, into two categories:\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
